This comprehensive course is targeted to new and existing customers of Viewpoint Construction Software who want to learn about creating and managing a project in Vista - specifically, Project Managers and Contract Administrators. The tutorial will walk you through processes to set up a project manually and through an import. It will also outline the steps to set up Subcontracts and Purchase orders on a project and cover the basics of managing the Create & Send process. You will also learn how to handle basic change management tasks and run cost projections on a project.
Learners will be able to download and print participant guides that provide step-by-step instructions and activities that allow you to practice what you’ve learned.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Set up a project manually using PM Projects and PM Contracts
- Work with PM Subcontracts, PM Purchase Orders, PM Material Detail, including Buy-outs
- Create and Send RFIs, Subcontracts, Change Orders, etc.
- Create a new Firm Contact and include them in a Project Firm
- Explore Document Tracking
